Dr. Matthew Eaton

Dr. Eaton earned his degree from The Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Ky and is Board Certified in Family Practice. Dr Eaton joined Monticello Medical Associates in 2018 and is a valuable member of our team.

Dr. Eaton and his wife, Leigh, make their home in Somerset, KY.

Dr. Eaton now serves as Medical Director for Monticello Medical Associates, Inc.

Dr. Ronald McFarland

Dr. Ronald McFarland served as physician and partner 1976-2023, and Medical Director 1996-2023.

Dr McFarland was a graduate of Wayne County High School in 1968. After high school he attended Somerset Community College and then went to the University of Kentucky where he was accepted into the University of Kentucky College of Medicine after his third year. During his college term he was part of the volunteer faculty at Eastern Kentucky University and volunteer faculty at the UK College of Medicine. In 1975 he graduated from the UK College of Medicine and returned home to practice with two other doctors. Phillips, Pratt, and McFarland eventually became Monticello Medical Associates. He was the co-owner of South Creek Medical Center built in 1989 to better serve the patients of his practice. Dr. McFarland’s clinical interest was sports medicine and his favorite thing about being a doctor was helping people.
